Vermont Trip: Day 1.

This trip was for Geo 316.  Basically we were checking out the geology of Vermont and the surrounding regions.
Outcrop south of Albany, limestone with some fossils.
A view of the dip of the bedding.
A thrust fault in some of the limestones.
A Duplex.
A normal fault.
With Professor Suppe for comparison.
The taconic thrust is the muddy stuff on the right.
There's Professor Supper standing on the contact.
Here's another contact.
Some dried mudcracks.
Here's a shiny fold.
Here's another section of limestone, i'll add the ages sometime later.
Ah, here we go, we're getting into some metamorphics.
There's a dike in the dolomite.
And here's the lake resort we're staying at.

On to Day 2.
