I've decided to make this section in order to get an assessment of all the active threats posed to humanity in the world. Various factors from War, disease, volcanoes, earthquakes, and other threats will be posed onto one map. This page will be updated once a week. This is the current map for the week of 4-14-2003.

Volcanic Activity:

New Eruptions:

  1. Volcano ASAMA, in Japan, erupted on 6 February with a small ash eruption.
  2. Volcano MAYON, in the Philippines, erupted on 17 March with a lava and ash eruption.

Continuing eruptions:

  1. Volcano Mt. EREBUS, in Antarctica, was basically in continuous eruption.
  2. Volcano KILAUEA, in Hawaii, erupted from time-to-time during the month.
  3. Volcano POPOCATEPETL, in Mexico, erupted from time-to-time during the month.
  4. Volcano Mt. ETNA, in Sicily, erupted from time-to-time during the month.
  5. Volcano STROMBOLI, in Italy, was basically in continuous eruption.
  6. Volcano ARENAL, in Costa Rica, was nearly in continuous eruption.
  7. Volcano TUNGURAHUA, in Ecuador, erupted from time-to-time during the month.
