Day 6: Tsankawi Mesa and Valles Caldera.

On this day we went out and checked out some stuff around Bandelier National Monument near Los Alamos. We started with Tsankawi Mesa, which we ran through last year.
Hey, I remember that guy from last year!
Here's the group wandering around some ruins.
That's an interesting block.
Various pieces of pottery shards, very nice designs.
I just liked that design.
There's Rada and Prof. Morgan going down a ladder.
See those holes in the white layer? Those are dwellings

Here's a look inside one of those caves.
From the outside. Notice that the footsteps are worn into the rock.
Here's some assorted petroglyphs.
Sherpa Laura is standing next to an original wall.
The alien guys again.
Spirals, you see these come up in a lot of ancient cultures.
The Flute player.
I think this is a symbol of death.
Triangle man.
Laura and Richard check out a house.
Coming out.
Hiking back along the trail.
Ah, Valles Caldera, just like I remember it. It's one of those places you want to run across but you know you're not gonna reach the other side.

Last Days!
